Friends of Joshua Tree is a nonprofit climbing advocacy, stewardship and education organization founded in 1991. Its Climb Smart program brings climbers, professional guides and community partners together in Joshua Tree National Park for technical clinics, managed climbing, stewardship and education.

Climbing education, stewardship, access advocacy, fixed-anchor replacement, community programs and the annual Climb Smart event.
